Fabric Dyeing
STSC work with a selection of Indian fabric dyers who can assist us in bringing your bespoke colours to life.
These include a range of AZO Free DTM dyeing and Eco Plant Dyeing services. These services require a $340 AUD set up fee which includes liaising between clients and our specialised printers and dyers, print testing and colour sampling, to strike off and sample dye through to bulk print or dye set up processes.
TIMELINES

1-2 months once swatch colours/ lab dip dye colours have been approved.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for the mill to create lab dips of your desired colours, (shipping included in timeframe).

Delays due to the ever-changing COVID situation in India are accounted for in these timelines.

Overall please allow 2-3 months for fabric dyeing with STSC.
AZO Free Fabric Dyeing
India
Pantone and Dyed to Match Solid colours dyed with AZO Free Dyes in Mill 2 in India.
Stock colours of some fabrics are also available, we have Pantone matched these in the link below.
Along with the organic cotton and stretch Lenzing™ fabric range at Mill 2 our woven Lenzing™ fabrics from Mill 1 can be sent to Mill 2 for dyeing.
ayurvastra Plant Dyeing
India
STSC's range of woven Ayurvastra plant dyed fabrics infused with medicinal herbs.
For Ayurvastra dyeing please choose fabrics directly from the Ayurvastra mill (4). Our Ayurvastra mill currently does not dye any fabrics outside their own range.
Ayurvastra plant dyes are:
Washable
Have no Synthetics or Chemicals
Are hypoallergenic / hon allergenic
Biodegradable
Washes/ sustains with benefits. approx 100 washes.

The following is required for Dyeing with our Indian mill and should be labeled as:
Pantone Colour “423 U”
Pantone Colour “4665 U”
OR Dyed to Match (DTM) Swatches can be sent to STSC and we can forward these onto our mills for Lab Dip Testing

Lab Dips Swatches of Pantone colours OR DTM swatches e.g Pantone 1 & 2.
Lab Dips are small swatches of fabric which are sent to clients to ensure the colour and quality fits their requirements.
Send in Post to STSC to be forwarded onto the client OR sent direct to international client once NDA has been signed.

1-5 metre sample dye of STSC Textile dyed Ayurvastra Swatch Cards (found online)
Sample Dye are small amounts of fabric which are sent to clients to ensure the colour and quality fits their requirements when specific fabrics are dyed.
Send in Post to STSC to be forwarded onto the client OR sent direct to international client once NDA has been signed.
