ECO-STRETCH TEXTILES plus CIRCULAR ECONOMY SOLUTIONS WITH RFiD THREADS® DIGITAL PRODUCT PASSPORT
CircStretch™ is a revolutionary textile blending:
premium plant-based fibres from Lenzing's TENCEL™ range
blending with innovative eco-elastanes
plus using sustainable Bluesign® dyes
plus offer biodegradable garment elastic with GOTS organic cotton and FSC natural rubber
and connect circular pathways for brands to integrate Circular Business Models plus educate and support their customers by linking products to a full circular economy - and if selling to the EU, enable brands to meet upcoming regulations for ESPR, EPR and adding DPPs with verifiable data.
CircStretch™ NEW DEVELOPMENT.
STSC is in the process of developing additional stretch textiles to minimise the impact to people and planet.
By using CircStretch™ brands can drastically reduce the use of plastic fossil fuel fibres and toxic dyes. The majority of stretch textiles on the market are made with plastic from fossil fuel source (polyester, plastic bottle rPET, nylon).
The majority of performance stretch textiles on the market use 100% plastic fibres that shed plastic into our environment plus use hazardous dyes, all causing potentially negative health impacts when worn close to our skin or ingested from our waterways, soil, air etc.
By using CircStretch™ brands can drastically reduce the use of plastic fossil fuel fibres and toxic dyes from textiles and stretch products. Our circular design strategies include:
produce specialised stretch textiles designed to minimise impact of wearing plastic fibres with toxins, especially in clothing worn close to our skin when exercising
to help brands to educate and offer opportunities to extend the products longevity - through self-care and repair plus Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) circular pathways - through resell and redesign.
and then when "unwearable" to support brands to recover and redirect the resources for reuse, remanufacture and ultimately recycle fibre to fibre.
where appropriate, high quality products can include a washable RFiD Threads digital product passport (DPP) that can bulk upload verifiable upstream traceability data so that downstream circular providers, sorters and recyclers can identify and use to certify feedstock showing the high eco-standards and add this to the next products DPP (to meet EU regulations).

RFiD THREADS® are the world’s first washable digital product passport enabling products to be added to a circular economy at scale. This feature is particularly beneficial for brands in the EU and California, helping them comply with upcoming Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations.
STSC's unique CircStretch™ fabrics use natural fibres by TENCEL™ blended with innovative eco-elastane.
Different blends can be used for garments like underwear, socks, athleisure, activewear, sportswear, apparel.
We manufacture low-plactic stretch textiles plus certified low-impact dyes to make safer and more sustainable stretch products worn close to the skin and sensitive body parts while sweating.
built for longevity, to keep its shape and colour and able to recycle (eg. fibre to fibre chemicals, mechanical or enzymes)
minimise plastic fibres to mitigate microplastic pollution.
Garment elastic. Manufacture products using our fully biodegradable natural rubber and GOTS certified cotton garment elastic.
MOQ is 1000kg per colourway.

CIRCULAR BUSINSS MODELS
Our aim is to offer circular business strategies that balance product longevity, be low-impact plus support brands to create take-back systems and add products to a circular economy from the design stage.
Depending on products, we aim to not "waste" the resources and first add Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) circular pathways (resell, repair, redesign) plus post-wear solutions for reuse and remanufacture (mechanical recycling) then eventually end-of-life recycling via fibre to fibre recycling - chemical or enzymatic processes rather than end up in landfill.
To meet emerging EU regulations such as the Ecodesign for Sustainable Product Regulations, brands can add a Global Circular Network RFiD Threads digital product passport to products.
Separate to the digital passport for products only (RFID) that collects product only data as it moves around a circular economy - brands can offer their customers a separate Customer Passport App or links to networks via a QR Code.
Customers can then learn where to take their garments for repair, resell and ultimately support sorters and recyclers who scan the RFID in bulk to show its safe to recycle without the forever chemicals. Recyclers can verify the fibres by scanning the RFID Thread showing the verifiable data, certify their feeddstock and provide ongoing traceability data to loop the textiles back into a circular economy.
